In the wild an obviouly ill Parrot is an easy target for predators. Even in our homes Parrots are extremely good at hiding illness, indeed by the time there are obvious signs it can be too late. Monitoring your birds weight is an extremely reliable indicator of health and can alert you to problems days before they would have been evident otherwise. These scales are accurate to within 1 gram or 0.1 oz and will weigh up to 2Kg / 5lb. Comes with flat Stainless Steel tray and also T perch tray. Auto power-off and tare function. Uses ordinary 9v battery (not included.)
